Bringing me back to my childhood.....Sesame Street Style.

I have been dying to do a Sesame Street card, and now that I have found an occassion (First Birthday) so there is no excuse for me to not try this. I found some inspiration on Dawn Griffith's blog. Thanks Dawn!

Mojo Found!!!!

Well I thought that this week I would go searching for something to give me some inspiration, and I came across Mojo Monday Blog (http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/). The sketch that I used was from a few weeks ago Sketch No. 88.

Happy Birthday to Someone Special...

Ok, I thought that I would start off with something fairly simple and quick.

Using the Chocolate Chip cardstock as my base I decided to use the Parisian Breeze DSP (in the new Spring Mini - Fabulous!!!). I put the DSP through the crimper so the the crimping was across the page.

Then I tied the Baja Breeze ribbon in the middle of the card (tucking the ribbon underneathe the DSP so that it was not showing) and glued it using SNAIL Adhesive. Positioning my mat pack(its a paper piercing template so that everything is even) I punched the holes for the Pewter Eyelets using the Crop-a-dile. And using the chocolate chip ink stamping a birthday message (On Your Birthday stamp set - Page 113 Idea book and Catalogue) on Whisper White card stock, then punching it out using the Large Oval Punch and sponging the edges with Baja Breeze ink.

I used Stampin Dimensionals to attach the birthday message.

Welcome to my Blog...

Welcome, Finally I have got my act together and organised a blog so that I can show you what I have been up to. A couple of months ago I signed up as a Stampin Up! Demonstrator and I absolutley love it. So much fun and they have such fantastic products to work with. I am hoping to post things weekly, but with two kids and other commitments who knows what will happen.
