'Tis the season....

Well as promised I am back with more Christmas things to share with everyone. I saw these tags on Kelly Slattery's blog a while ago and just fell in love. Very easy but yet effective to make. Using Winter Post stamp set. Very Vanilla, Real Red and Old Olive Cardstock. Early Espresso, Real Red Ink. Like I said Easy!!! :)
I have a few Christmas Cards to share soon too. :)

Lots to Share....

First of all apologies AGAIN for my lack of blogging. :( As you all can understand this time of year is extremely hectic and sometimes some things tend to get put on the back burner (so to speak).
But in saying that I have LOTS to share with you all.

Ok..... First I thought that I would show you an advent calender that I made as a gift for someone. I used a muffin tin, as they come with 24 holes. I have seen this idea on a couple of blogs quite a while ago (sorry cant remember where???) and thought what a fantastic idea!! The thought behind it is that you can use the tin all year round then when its December you put 24 little goodies inside and put the numbers back on. The numbers are made from magnet sheets, I have just stuck DSP on to the sheets. (Tip: As some of them were not sticking properly I put a couple of mini glue dots on the edges). Inside each little cup I have stamped various images with christmas stamps.
I will be back soon with more Christmas things to share.

JAI Challenge 41

Today I thought that I would share with you a card that I made this morning with the Just Add Ink challenge in mind, this week its Just Add Birthdays.

I used Razzle Dazzle stamp set and some of my favourite colours. Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy - I love this combination. :) As you can see that I have used the "Rock and Roll" technique in this case with Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy.

Once again I am really sorry about the terrible pitchure, I think that I really need to invest in a new camera. :)
Hope to be back soon, I have some wonderful Christmas ideas to share.

Very Talented Little Man......

My 2 year old son Aiden decided that he wanted to do some stamping this morning. So I thought "Why Not?!?!?!". He chose the colours himself (Pretty in Pink and So Saffron) and I must say what great colour co-ordination that he has. :) I layed out a couple of stamp sets and he decided that he wanted to use Nursery Necessities. I think cause he loved the elephant. So this is his creation using a little Note Card. I put the ink on the stamp but he stamped it all by himself and added his extra touch.
Hope you love it as much as I do.

Scrapbooking...

Now I am not really the worlds best scrapbooker, and to be honest I find it really hard to scrapbook at times because I find that working in larger spaces is a little difficult. I think that is why I tend to like doing cards.
But as I am trying to challenge myself a little and I am trying to scrapbook my kids, I thought that I would share a 6 x 6 page that I have created.
I have kept it very simple as I wanted to keep the photo the main point and I really dont like overdone pages.
Stamps - Sweet Little Sentiments (level 1 hostess)
Paper - Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Ink - Riding Hood Red
Accessories - Slit Punch, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin Diamentials

Using up my DSP....

Well this week I set myself a little challenge of trying to create something from somethings that are not current. (I suppose you could say that, as it was in the Spring Mini last year?) I have so much DSP at the moment and as its coming to the end of this years Ides Book and Catalogue I have decided to use what I can so that I can make room for all of Stampin Up's FANTASTIC new goodies that I know they will tempt me with in their new IB&C (coming out 1 Sept - So Exciting!!!).
So in saying all that, (I will try not to dribble much more...Lol!) I made myself a little pen holder. Last weekend as it was a long weekend I put it to much use and made a few changes in the house moving rooms around, so as my crafty area is now with the study I have decided to crafty it up so to speak... (Sorry Troy....Lol!).

Anyways I am hoping to be back in the next few days to share some more with you.

Changing again ???

As some of you have noticed that I have been changing my blog a little lately. Well I am trying to have a play around with it to get it in a way that I am happy with. I do apologise if you are finding this annoying and I will try to have it sorted soon.
Thanks for taking the time to stop and have a look.

Just Add Ink Challenge - JAI19

This week at Just Add Ink the challenge is these colours:

I must admit these colours are a little out of my comfort zone, but that is what a challenge is all about. So here is what I came up with, after a little inspiration from the lovely Marelle Taylor.

Also I thought that I would show you how cool this combination looks as a topper on a celophane bag. I recently did a share of some products and this is what it looks like with the Pretties.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look.
