For the perfect hostess....

Well as I am sure the rest of you are the same at the moment - I am finding myself with odds and ends and not quite sure what to do with them. And as I have a workshop this weekend I thought that I should make something for my lovely hostess.... Here is what I have come up with.

Its using the Pretties Kit. This kit is perfect for thinking ouside the square (so to speak)... :)

Thanks for looking... Hopefully back in the next couple of days to share more with you.

Scrapbooking...

Now I am not really the worlds best scrapbooker, and to be honest I find it really hard to scrapbook at times because I find that working in larger spaces is a little difficult. I think that is why I tend to like doing cards.
But as I am trying to challenge myself a little and I am trying to scrapbook my kids, I thought that I would share a 6 x 6 page that I have created.
I have kept it very simple as I wanted to keep the photo the main point and I really dont like overdone pages.
Stamps - Sweet Little Sentiments (level 1 hostess)
Paper - Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Ink - Riding Hood Red
Accessories - Slit Punch, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin Diamentials

Using up my DSP....

Well this week I set myself a little challenge of trying to create something from somethings that are not current. (I suppose you could say that, as it was in the Spring Mini last year?) I have so much DSP at the moment and as its coming to the end of this years Ides Book and Catalogue I have decided to use what I can so that I can make room for all of Stampin Up's FANTASTIC new goodies that I know they will tempt me with in their new IB&C (coming out 1 Sept - So Exciting!!!).
So in saying all that, (I will try not to dribble much more...Lol!) I made myself a little pen holder. Last weekend as it was a long weekend I put it to much use and made a few changes in the house moving rooms around, so as my crafty area is now with the study I have decided to crafty it up so to speak... (Sorry Troy....Lol!).

Anyways I am hoping to be back in the next few days to share some more with you.

Changing again ???

As some of you have noticed that I have been changing my blog a little lately. Well I am trying to have a play around with it to get it in a way that I am happy with. I do apologise if you are finding this annoying and I will try to have it sorted soon.
Thanks for taking the time to stop and have a look.

Just Add Ink Challenge - JAI19

This week at Just Add Ink the challenge is these colours:

I must admit these colours are a little out of my comfort zone, but that is what a challenge is all about. So here is what I came up with, after a little inspiration from the lovely Marelle Taylor.

Also I thought that I would show you how cool this combination looks as a topper on a celophane bag. I recently did a share of some products and this is what it looks like with the Pretties.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look.
